Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using this website and placing an order with us you are agreeing to the conditions that appear below. These terms and conditions were last updated on 1st April 2020.  Please review these Terms & Conditions as they may change from time to time.  If at any time you do not wish to accept these conditions then you may not use this site.

  1. Ordering

You can use our website to place an order by selecting products and adding them to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time.

Delivery charges will be shown before you place your order, and you will be required to pay for the goods and delivery in full at the time of ordering. We use secure payment facilities for online purchases.

All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and will include any Value Added Tax at the current rate, although appleTeme are not currently VAT registered. You can pay for your order by Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe payment.

Changes may not be possible after your order has been confirmed, or may incur additional charges or delays, but if you contact us we will do our best to help. If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched, we may pass on any extra charges for redirecting your delivery.

  1. Contracts

Placing an order with us makes an offer to buy goods. We’ll send you an e-mail to confirm this order. Once you receive this e-mail, a contract has been made between us. This contract is covered by English law, and by placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy and the terms of website use.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available or there is an error on our website such as incorrect pricing, we will notify you of this mistake, and you will be given an opportunity to reorder at the new price. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.

  1. Delivery

Goods will normally be dispatched on the next working day, and then delivered on a next day basis, but please allow up to five working days for delivery. Your order may arrive in more than one delivery. We can deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Isles, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Dublin and Eire).

Our courier will deliver the order to the delivery address in your order. You don’t need to be present to accept it - the driver will leave your goods in any safe place you’ve specified when making the order. Please choose a place that is safe and secure as we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.

Deliveries are made on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe delivery of the goods. You should tell us about any special delivery requirements when you place your order. After two failed delivery attempts (or if you are not present for an agreed delivery) the goods may be returned to us and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.

All our juices are delivered in sturdy bottle boxes, with suitable protective cushioning, and we have achieved numerous deliveries without problem, but please check the order on delivery and decline to accept any goods with visible damage to the packaging. Any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery and ourselves within 24 hours.

If you do not receive your delivery within a reasonable period, i.e 3 days of dispatch, please email us and we will track its whereabouts. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by ourselves or our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control, we or our carrier may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we can’t be responsible where exceptional circumstances cause a delay or failure in delivering your goods.

  1. Cancellation and returns

This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations. Cancellations can be accepted by email or phone up to 8 am on the day of despatch and will be refunded in full, but after this, if you change your mind, you can contact us and arrange return to us to at your cost. If the bottles are received in a saleable condition you will receive a full refund minus the delivery costs.

  1. Faulty Goods / Guarantee

Our juices are not mass produced, they are wholesome products made from handpicked real fruit, steamed or crushed, pressed and pasteurised. Each batch is therefore unique to the each harvest, and thus flavours and colours will vary from batch to batch. Due to the traditional nature of creating our juices, products will contain lots of the natural goodness of the fruit, and will therefore be cloudy. Some bottles may settle with storage, creating sediment at the base of the bottle, but this will readily disperse upon shaking and is harmless.

Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your juices may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products on this website. As our juices are small batch products using heritage varieties there will be minor colour differences between batches. We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual juice.

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

If there is a problem with the drinks, please notify us by email or in writing providing the batch name and details of the drink found on the label affixed to the tag. It is helpful if you can provide us with a photograph of the problem as this may save you having to return the bottles for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights and do our best to rectify any problems.

  1. Liability

The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We do not accept liability for any loss of profit or indirect losses arising from our sale to your of these goods.

  1. Promotions

We may from time to time offer discount codes, which will be only applicable on single orders and no other offer can be used in conjunction with a discount code. From time to time we may hold a sale, using a discount code that can be applied during checkout. A sale offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount code. Juices purchased through a sale or with a discount may have a short shelf life which will be specified in the description.

All competitions will state in their description what prize is being offered and there is no cash alternative. All prize winners will be notified by email with the details of their prize, including venue, value and expiry date (Where applicable). Prizes can only be delivered to a mainland UK address (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Isles, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Dublin and Eire). Automated/bulk entries and entries from third parties are not permitted
