Picking begins in late summer, increasing during the autumn; trees are regularly inspected so the apples can be picked when just ripe and before they fall. The apples are stored until ready for pressing when each one is washed by hand, inspected for bruises or other damage. We select apples that are of eating quality, to make our juices only the best will do. We don’t mind about shape though, apples are definitely individuals! The apples we use have never been sprayed with insecticides.

We pick, wash and press all by hand with the help of a new water based hydro press. We have over 100 different varieties of apples, either from our orchard or from nearby orchards, all unsprayed. The resulting juices are fresh, pure and vibrant, reflecting the full character and flavour of the world famous English apple.

All our juices are classified as either sweet, medium or tangy. This suits different people's tastes and preferences. We also list the main varieties on the back of the tag label just so that you know what you are drinking! Many of these forgotten varieties of apple can be recognised for the wonderful flavours they possess.

We make the most of forgotten fruit such as the wonderfully flavourful Shropshire Prune Damson, quinces, elderberries, medlars and blackberries which we blend with our apple to create exciting new drinks. These are to be enjoyed any time of the day.

We are based in Shropshire, on the border with Herefordshire where the Tickmore orchards lie, in Brimfield just outside Ludlow.
